Gunn Road runs between County Road 1122 and Tie Ridge Road in the Ozark – St Francis National Forest north of Mountain View, Arkansas. The hardest part of the trail is a large tree that appears to have been across the road for quite some time, as there is an established “go-around.” The trail crosses a creek bed that will presumably have water during wet weather. A nice, large, mowed field with an established fire ring makes for good camping along the trail. This is a nice place to get lost for a bit and maybe set up a base camp while exploring the roads nearby.
