Eldorado Powerline Road is an 11-mile point-to-point trail that follows the Eldorado Powerlines over the Black Mountain range to Fire Mountain Road. The trail starts from Highway 93 and climbs over the Black Mountain range. Before the summit, there are several mining sites to explore. After the summit, the views of Lake Mohave and the surrounding mountains are stunning. This section of Eldorado Powerline Road is a narrow, switchback-laden shelf road. There are several areas along the shelf road that are suitable for dispersed camping.
