The Black Joe Mine Trail runs north of US 93. It falls within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. There is no fee or permit needed to run this trail. This trail runs towards the mountains and offers sweeping views of the valley below towards the Colorado River.
Several camping spots can hold several vehicles. All have rock fire rings and have nice views of the valley below.
