Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, he's only been off-roading since he was 16 but fell in love immediately. He attended college in Denver for Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management and wheeled in Colorado for 4 years, but ended up moving back home to Salt Lake City. He currently works in an off-road shop and spends his free time doing anything he can to stay busy, which is usually working on his jeep or playing music. Outside of off-roading, he is an avid whitewater rafter and outdoor cook. Camping at least every other weekend in any season is a normal year. The further from civilization, the better. Bring on the memories!

When he was 16, he had his choice of vehicle. Deciding between a number of more practical vehicles, he settled on his first and current jeep, a 97 Jeep TJ. Flame red, 5 speed, I6 sitting on 4 inches and 33" MTR's. He quickly learned how Jeeps are an addiction and suddenly, had started a list of things he wanted or needed for his jeep. Being a full-time student, he didn't have too much time to work and couldn't find a high paying job, so mods were few and far between. By the time he hit college, he had a better paying job and the money started to add up. Skip a few years and here he is: 1997 Jeep TJ Read My Lips red, 5 speed I6, 130xxx miles. 4.5-inch Metalcloak Dual Rate springs with a custom 3/4 link long arm using Teraflex joints, home built trusses on a dana 30/8.8 locked with ARB's and 4.88's. 35" Dick Cepek crushers on black steelies. Metalcloak frame built bumper with an 8k Smittybilt winch. Metalcloak rear tire carrier/bumper with matching spare, 60" hi-lift, ax, shovel, and 4-gallon Rotopax can. ZJ cloth power seats. A few lights here and there. Monstalined inside/underside/and outside. Built-in solar charging using Flexopower pannels and an onboard hot water system with a fully lit kitchen equipt with Dometic fridge and two drop down work surfaces.
