Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, he's only been off-roading since he was 16 but fell in love immediately. He attended college in Denver for Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management and wheeled in Colorado for 4 years but ended up moving back home to Salt Lake City. He usually stays busy working on his multiple Jeeps. Outside of off-roading, he is a trumpet player, avid whitewater rafter, outdoor cook, as well as an urban homesteader with full edible landscaping, beer and cider brewer, and winemaker. Camping at least every other weekend in any season is a normal year. The further from civilization, the better. Bring on the memories!

2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Lift Size: 2.5"
Tire Size: 37"
Company Vehicle: This 2 door JL features a 2.5 inch AEV lift using relocation brackets and factory control arms. Despite "factory configuration", it works quite well. Sitting on 37" tires, ground clearance is often not an issue for this little Jeep, nicknamed Squirrely Dan!

2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited

Lift Size: 1"
Tire Size: 35"
Company Vehicle: This "stock" 4 door JL Rubicon has a small 1" puck lift, simply to offset the worn out sagging Rubi springs from 3 years of straight abuse. It sits only 1/2" above a factory Rubi and runs 35" Falken AT4 tires.

1964 Jeep FJ-3 Fleetvan

Lift Size: Stock
Tire Size: 31"
Riding on a 78 CJ5 chassis, this rare '62 Fleetvan is living its best life. Eventually, it will be trail-worthy, but for now, it is a project. Although, it does run and kind of drive!

2023 Jeep Gladiator

Lift Size: Stock
Tire Size: 33"
First ever brand-new vehicle! Motobilt bumper and 12k Superwinch, Teraflex leveling kit, and some accessories inside but otherwise, just a stock Rubi.

1958 Jeep FC150/170

Lift Size: Stock
Tire Size: 31"
58 FC170 all original with the Super Hurricane engine, running and driving. Hasn't seen much action yet but maybe one day..

1997 Jeep Wrangler (2 door)

Lift Size: 4.5"
Tire Size: 35"
My first car when I was 16 and I still have it to this day! 97 TJ 5 speed, locked, long armed, and ready for adventure.

1998 Jeep Wrangler (2 door)

Lift Size: 5"
Tire Size: 40"+
Nicknamed Project Freakshow, my 98 Wrangler "Brute" is my long-term project. All American-made parts and locally supported businesses where possible. 40-inch tires for now, ORI's, and everything else custom. Powered by a suped-up 2.0 BHW TDI. Maybe one day it'll be ready.
