After spending 25 years working tirelessly in an unforgiving industry, the last 10 of which as an executive, in order to satisfy my search for sanity I purchased a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock (2-door) new back in 2016, then traded in for an eco-diesel 4-door Rubicon in 2021 to add more space for camping gear... Ever since then, I have been consumed with off roading and exploration. Throughout my life the only thing certain was uncertainty, never conforming to a prescribed lifestyle or business plan, I was always the guy to "take the road less traveled." It wasn't until I purchased my Rubicon that I soon realized that the road less traveled....is...well...still a road. To find the ultimate adventure, I needed to find what generally cannot be found conventionally. You wont find me spending leisure time on speed engineered concrete cattle drives, visiting color brochure destinations with the rest of the herd. Nope, not here... Those routes that confuse the "smart" GPS, the ones those GPS units show your vehicle icon driving through a color patch with no pre defined road to follow underneath it, those are my roads... If the sign says "Caution, 4WD only, road closed, no maintenance or unnamed road" that is where you will find me... On a personal level, I love to engage with other outdoor enthusiasts. I have a passion to experience new adventures, to meet new people and learn new things. As a former international traveler (over 2 million miles flown between 5 different continents) I have come to truly appreciate the ultimate sacrifices of those before me, the freedoms that cannot be found in any other country, as well as the responsibility that goes along with that....
