Trail Information

Highlights

One of the really neat trails in the Evans Creek system, there truly is something for everyone on this trail. The hill climb may prove to be the most difficult portion of the trail, but within the trail, several areas will also challenge your skills. There is a chance to run across several different wildlife species, from the tiny chipmunk to the giant elk; keep your camera at the ready on this trail. With all that it offers, the 198 trail has the largest variety of every type of terrain; it is the quintessential NW wheeling trail of Evans Creek.

Set off in a Range Rover convoy and ended up finishing it with about 6 other rigs. Even managed to rescue a Jeeper and his family(dogs included). Road was indeed washed out. Lots of snow near the top. Great trail! Friendly people..Will definitely recommended.
