Highlight: Deadman Spring
Words like "deadman" are never really inviting, but then again, in the desert, the term "springs" is really inviting. Deadman Springs. In the 1890s a couple of old cowboys found a dead man at the springs, hence the name. Today this short trail takes you off the beaten path into an oasis of green growth and cooler temperatures within the canyon walls tucked in under White Point. Ancient junipers and the sound of dripping water await!
