Highlights

Highlight: Sheep Ranch Trail
In the middle of the Drummond Island trail system is the mild to moderate Sheep Ranch Trail. This trail acts as one of the main routes through the island and has some long water crossings to get your tires (and maybe your doors) wet and muddy. The dense forest road has a number of rocky sections to keep things interesting for new and experienced drivers alike. Run Nevenen's Road, Sheep Ranch Trail, and Glen Cove Road for a full day of mild off-roading on Drummond.

I expected this trail to be more of a dirt road and it surprised with a fun and rocky trail with some really cool water crossings. I highly recommend this one while you're on the island.

Visited this trail last year and it was by far my favorite on the island......the water is a lot of fun to drive through as long as you have proper clearance and a winch just in case. It is beautiful all over the island. Can't wait to go back!

JD Marshall

Mapping Crew - Colorado

Jen & JD moved to Colorado from Chicago in May of 2015 for work and brought with them a 2001 stock Jeep Wrangler that had been garage bound for two years. Within a month of arrival, all rusty 170,000 miles of it was shaking on Colorado trails and they've never stopped. As time as gone on, their 2001 TJ had to be traded and a 2015 Jeep JK has been added to the family. JD works as a Systems Engineer for a cable company and Jen runs a business from their home during the week to pay the bills. When the weekend hits, they're almost always hitting the trail. When Sunday night rolls around, the question turns to, 'so what's next week?!'.
