Trail Information

Highlights

Reds Canyon Loop is an incredibly gorgeous trail in the south end of the San Rafael Swell in Central Utah. Starting at a high elevation, you can see the beautiful canyon that you will be descending into. Once in the canyon, you can see where the trail gets its name. Winding through the red cliffs, you will wish you could spend days down here. As you exit the trail to the north, you are treated with more spectacular views of the surrounding areas. This is an absolute must do in the Swell!

One of the most beautiful drives I've taken! A big storm blew through a couple days before I took it, it was still in good shape, just a few rocks that block the trail in some spots but no big deal. My stock 4x4 Toyota Sport 4door, long bed made it easily through with no problems. I was in such awe of the scenery I actually forgot to take pictures. I'll definitely be back for another go.

Beautiful trail, one of our favorites, and we never get tired of exploring it. Makes for a very enjoyable and relaxing day, bring a lunch; have a picnic and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Amazing views and a fun trail. We ran hidden splendor the day before and thought it was incredible, Reds out did that. The trail is easy with a few tight spots as you drop into the canyon. The views the whole way are just non stop. You will find yourself stopping often for photos. The rock formations all along the canyon are just amazing. This combined with Hidden Splendor will make your whole trip. Pictures just don’t do it justice.

Ran this trail about 7 months ago.... A ton of fun. I was sad it took this long to write it up. Such a cool place to visit.
