Rock formations, fun side trails, and an inspiring overlook at the Green River make this off-highway route one to put on your to-do list. It will take you past formidable rock formations such as Tombstone Rock, Dellenbaugh Tunnel, and Secret Spire. This route is better known to off-road enthusiasts for connecting to the more challenging and remote Dellenbaugh Tunnel and Secret Spire trails, however, its namesake comes from ending at a point towering over the Green River.

Take highway 313 west from 191 and turn right on Dubinky Well Road. Approximately 6 miles in, turn left onto Spring Canyon Rd at a wide intersection. Intersection is marked with a sign reading "Dripping Spring".
What an amazing trail! We had the place to ourselves. The road was a mix of snow and some mud in the afternoon as the snow was melting. It was in great shape though. The last few miles is fairly bumpy, rocky and slow going though. We hit a few areas where 4Low was your friend. The views are amazing. There are two nice dispersed camp sites at the end. Would highly recommend if your in the area, we will be back!
What a great trail! This trail isn't terribly difficult and was even recently graded in most places when I was there. The start has scenic views in all directions and the end has a great place to walk up to the top and view the Colorado River. I highly recommend this one for those looking to get away from the crowds of Moab, or as a camping location and launch point.
I enjoyed this ride so much, it was interesting experiencing the different landscapes you go through, and when you get to the end it was gorgeous. Many places to hike around, the big ole dog and I enjoyed exploring the area. My stock 4x4 Toyota made it easily there and back again. I'd do it again just for fun.
Spring Canyon Point is a long and dusty road but the scenery is constantly changing from sagebrush fields to rocky hills and bare sandstone mountains and monoliths. Of course the river canyon view at the end is worthwhile.
Long and dusty with an epic view at the end. What more could you want? The bonus here is that this road also gives you access to several others to make for a full day or days on the trail.
I made the run out Spring Canyon Point to do some updates and get photos and video. What a fantastic road, with all the views and short diversion trails such as Secret Spire and the Dellenbaugh Tunnel. A buddy in his 4Runner joined me, we had a great time.
