An overgrown tight trail, without much room to turn around or camp at the end. D1740 once traveled about twice as far as it currently does. It now travels across lush restoration land, before ending at a fence line with a small turnaround spot. If you choose to camp there, keep in mind visitors are now forced to turn around in your campsite. There are no obstacles, just a brusy, and sandy two-track.
