Ending on the edge of the sprawling Ruby Ranch, D8210 leads out-and-back to an overlook of the Green River. Branching off of D2930, the rough two-track is almost invisible at times. Crossing large sandstone slabs without trail markers is likely the most difficult part. There are no obstacles or deep washouts. The trail ends above a vertical rock ledge, where you must walk a short distance to climb the red rocks for amazing views of the river and Dellenbaugh Butte. The very end offers a wonderful and picturesque spot to set up a roof-top tent for the night.
