South Ekker Ranch Road, also called Roost Road on some maps, is a well-maintained sandy-dirt crossover. There are distant views of the Henry Mountains and abundant cattle. Please use caution and slow down when encountering cattle in the roadway. There is no camping found along the entire road. The trail can become soft, even after grading, and impassable in wet conditions.
