Located within the Robber's Roost region of the San Rafael Desert, Bull Pasture has been used for cattle grazing land since the first settlers. Nearby Bull Pasture Canyon is considered an excellent beginner-level technical hiking canyon. It's relatively short but features a scenic exit through deep-walled canyons. The driving trail is a mix of hard pack sand and sandstone slabs. It's bumpy, but it can be completed in high-clearance 2WD with durable tires. Camping is abundant and peaceful at the numerous campsites found at small pull-off-type sites.
