Best known as the road to the Mussentuchit Wash petroglyphs, this short, out-and-back trail leads to an impressive rock art panel. Traveling up the knoll from Lower Last Chance Loop, the trail is a mix of soft sand and hard pack dirt, with no obstacles. The short spur trail, located before the fence, is where the rock art wall can be found. Travel out to the end of the turnaround above Mussentuchit Wash, then look for the wall on the right, as you drive back out. It's a short hike to the large panel on the cliff. As you walk to the panel, piles of colorful chert cover the ground. This was a stone tool production site with access to fresh water in the nearby canyon. Early in the route, there is a large open area with a couple of fire pits for camping. The main trail continues south past the cattle fence to a large retention pond, close to Twin Peaks. As the name says, mus-int-tuch-it, please do not touch the panels.
