Hell Creek Spur Road (09/04/2022)
Agree with the others. This trail was harder than I had expected. Ran it East to West from Hay Creek East Road. Decided to turn around about half way between waypoints 4 and 5 at the top of the steep washed out hill. The section between waypoints 2 and 3 was a little tricky, so I'm surprised that it's not talked about in the description. Would be very difficult in a larger vehicle. I'd rate the two sections described closer to 4.
Hell Creek Road (09/04/2022)
Easy trail with a few narrow spots between boulders. A little overgrown as well, so we added a few pin stripes. Lots of Mosquitos and bees around the mud puddles throughout the lesser traveled part of the trail. Didn't attempt the hill climb but the right side seems plenty doable. Probably a little difficult to turn around at the top.
Schubarth Trail (09/04/2022)
Easy dirt/gravel road with great views of Pikes Peak from a large meadowy area.
Hay Creek East Road (09/04/2022)
Would be a great area for leaf peeping. Enjoyed the scenic overlook.
Hotel Gulch (06/19/2022)
Ran this trail today. No traffic midday (plenty of room to pass though if needed) and trail was in good shape. Only took 30 minutes. I thought most of the trail was 1-2 with a couple places being 3.
