Taylor Pass (10/10/2022)
Great trail coming from Buena Vista. There were road construction delay signs for the week but all we saw was equipment. No work being done and we passed no issues. Narrow trail through the trees. Boulder hill and the creek were fun! And the views at the top were beyond amazing! I need to come back to complete Pearl pass along with this.
Pearl Pass (10/10/2022)
Beautiful area on the Aspen side. Tried to get to Crested Butte but the trail sign at WP6 had a red ribbon with Closed written on it. Didn't call to verify but there is a lot of snow up top. It was late so we turned around and took independence pass back to Buena Vista. We came down Taylor pass which was amazing
Tomichi Pass (10/09/2022)
Looks like the road is closed again due to the slide? We didn't drive up to it but saw it from the Hancock side.
Beaver Ridge (09/23/2022)
Very pretty trail and mostly flowy. A nice change from mostly rock trails I'm used to. Ended up seeing a huge Moose feet from the trail! What a site and we maybe saw 3 people.
Mosquito Pass (09/23/2022)
Rocky trail as previous review says and mud puddles are pretty deep for low clearance stock vehicles. Good run to Leadville with nice views
Buckskin Joe (09/23/2022)
First time on these trails in the area. Great views at the top and very little traffic. Good mix of trees and above treeline views
Kelly Flats (06/15/2022)
Ran this trail with 4 rigs (modified XJ on 35s, modified H3 on 35s, stock Nissan Pro4x and stock Nissan Xterra open diffs. The only one with an issue was the Xterra with open diffs. The hill climbs are loose with bowling ball size rocks. They even took the bypass but had to turn around short of the top. I think the rating is correct but be aware with stock rigs and open diffs.
Moody Hill (06/14/2022)
Got to the gate and it looks like it has been closed for a while.
