Liberty Trail (07/24/2019)
Definitely open, definitely difficult! We didn't run into any tarantulas or rattlesnakes, but saw some sizable spider holes on the sides. Thanks for that warning! As described, the major obstacles are all there, but rocks get moved all the time. It was hot and there is very little shade and no water. Come prepared with supplies and more tools than you think you'll need. We ended needing a ball joint press 🥴
Bill Moore Lake (07/08/2019)
Wide open and gorgeous. Only got a little wet near the top. There is a pretty cool mud crossing from the run off at the very top before the lake, but we got a stock Wrangler through it. Go for it!
Red Elephant Hill (07/08/2019)
Totally dry and in good shape. We had 2 Jeeps on 40's and run it uphill from Lawson. Great time. We connected to Bill Moore Lake and made it all the way to the lake.
Transfer Trail (06/27/2019)
Yep, still impassable! We made it about 5 miles up and hit a wall of snow. Ended up camping there and shooting down to Coffee Pot Road and went up the other side and it was open for a long way up (we found a camp site before we ran into anything).
