My Trail Reviews (22)
(within last 6 months) Closed for the season per the National Park Service.
One last run before Medano closed for the year. The trail was snowy on the east side but clear and dry on the west side. We had to do a little ice breaking to get through the water crossings as we were the first ones through that day.
Announced as closed for the season per San Miguel County.

Ran the trail and camped out for the night near Box Canyon. The trail is in good condition and traffic on the trail was light.
San Miguel County has temporarily closed Black Bear Pass at this time.
Bridge repairs are finished and Imogene Pass is back open per San Miguel County Road and Bridge.
Recent snows have rendered Blackbear impassable for now. Word has it that the trail is muddy to the summit but snow has blocked the trail on the Telluride side.

Went up to check the trail on my motorcycle. Although the route was rocky in spots its pretty consistent with how the route had been in the past. Camped out in a nice little spot on Friday night. North Fork campground was still closed, however Angels of Shavano campground was open. The avalanche debris was impressive!
