I like this fun easy trail. Over the years is has become a little washed out in some spots but very doable in even a stock vehicle on 31 tires (took a buddy through here on a stock 2021 4R). Although, good tire placement is needed to keep from scraping (minor) on some of the rock steps. A fun alternate route on the way out is to turn west are marker post 7 (east entrance to Chiva Falls), next dirt road intersection after turn north and you will end up back on Redington Road. Good fun route if you just want to get out for a quick half day and play. Nothing too technical. Enjoy the trail!
Road in great paved condition, well graded. Plenty of spots along the way to pull over and air down for Box Canyon.
Amazing views on this trail. Not difficult at all. We ran this trail from S to N starting on Price Rd. This is a busy busy trail, especially on the weekends. However, everyone on the trail was great about letting you know how many are in their group, great community communication! Descrition is still accurate, can be done in 2 wheel drive but save the trail an put it in 4x4 so you don't spin. Wanted to do the waterfall but unfortunately there were a lot of people there waiting. Decided to turn around and come back the way we can. Time estimate in description is also accurate. Enjoy the views on this trail.
