"Fletch" has had a passion for the outdoors since he was very young. He enjoys the relaxation nature provides as well as the challenges and the excitement. Primarily attracted to the woodlands, hills, and mountains of this great continent, you can usually find him hiking, canoeing, or exploring trails in his Jeep.
Matt has made a commitment to the overland lifestyle and intends on pursuing this type of travel for the rest of his life. He's traveled the backroads and trails of 25 different states and two provinces of Canada.
Matt's extremely excited about being part of the TRAILSOFFROAD team and contributing to the community. He has always found a lot of joy in helping others and introducing newcomers to off-roading and overlanding.

Matt purchased "Nora" the 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport new while he was stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He believes this goes down as one of the few good decisions made during his time spent in Fayetteville.
He quickly fell in love and started with small modifications that fit into his full-time service as a soldier. First, he debadged the entire vehicle. He loves the clean look it provides and doesn't believe anyone needs to see the name to know what he's driving.
He went on to install a K&N Blackhawk cold air intake, heavy-duty Lund rock rails, 33" Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's, lifted it 3" with a heavy-duty Old Man Emu setup, and added a full roof rack from Front Runners Outfitters. He added a rear bumper with swing-gate and finally installed a front bumper from Shrockworks out of Houston, TX which he paired with a Smittybilt 9500 winch.
As usual, Nora is ever-evolving, continuously being tried and tested but Matt will own this black Jeep until her final breaths.
