2016 Toyota 4Runner (2"
lift, 33" tires)
In my early 40’s married with one son and live just outside DC in northern VA. I make my living playing second trumpet in the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
When not working I’m driving west. Love hunting, especially white tail deer, every way I can. Archery, muzzle loader, rifle and pistol. Trapper. I’m hooked on game meat. Fishing for small mouth in the Shenandoah river.
Before anyone asks no I’m not a typical classical musician. I’m one of two rednecks in the band.

Just ran it again today. With all the rain its really fun, but if you’re alone stay out of the mud bog!!! We came along just in time to save a lone Jeep from one hell of a tow bill, not to mention a several mile walk to cell reception.
The trail closes in a week or two until late march, sometimes early to mid April. Call the Lee Ranger station before heading out, 540-984-4101, and be sure to have a permit.
