Hungry Valley SVRA - Pronghorn Trail (07/10/2021)
The full length of the trail is not open. There was a fire in the north part of the park. You can do the southern part of the trail up to the motorcycle track area "Quail Canyon Motocross" but you need to return the way you came because all the other trails leaving Quail Canyon area are closed. You can still get to the hill climb that is the main attraction of this trail. The hill climb at way-point 2 is the only difficult part of the trail. It took 2 attempts to find the right line but we made it to the top.
Hungry Valley SVRA - Homestead Trail (07/10/2021)
I would say this trail is more easy then moderate. no problem for any 4x4. It is a little steep in spots but nothing hard. I went north on Freeman trail after this and there is a cool canyon you can drive up. This trail is fully open.
Hungry Valley SVRA - Pipeline Road (07/10/2021)
Pipeline road road is a easy dirt road, you can do most of it in a 2wd. There are some side trails that turn off and come back that are a little harder. Or you can drive up the dry river bed that runs parallel for some more fun.
Hungry Valley SVRA - Rattler Trail (07/10/2021)
Rattler trail is a easy dirt road, There are a few hill climbs but nothing hard any 4wd vehicle should be fine. There are some side trails that turn off and come back that are a little harder. Or you can drive up the dry river bed that runs parallel to this for some more fun. I see this as more of a connector to get between more interesting trails.
Hungry Valley SVRA 4x4 Practice Area (07/09/2021)
A friend just got a wrangler and this was the perfect spot to test out what there jeep can do. All levels of difficulty in this area and when your done here lots of trails in the Hungry valley OHV also in the nearby Frazier park and Lockwood areas. When we got here there was a jeep club with a dozen vehicles just leaving. But most of the time the practice area is mostly empty. 7/10/2021
