Xtreme Recon comes with 1.5” lift and 35” tires from the factory. I put an aluminum Rockhard4x4 front bumper and winch on and added a set of 37's but otherwise it’s stock!

My Trail Reviews (10)

(within last 6 months)
Fissure Mountain Trail (11/04/2022)
Ran this today and it was quite a bit harder than I expected based on a 4/6 rating. This trail was a lot of fun but I would probably rate it 5/6 or 5/7 based on other trails with these ratings. I was hoping it would be a little more challenging and it was exactly what I wanted! We took the right (rock crawl) exit instead of the steep sand hill exit, which looked much harder and longer. It was a great day in the desert and I highly recommend this trail
Wheeler Lake (09/16/2022)
Great day running this trail, cloudy and trying to snow on the way to the lake and sun comes out when we got to the lake & for the rest of the day! Perfect temps, only saw two side-by-sides and a few hikers on the trail all day! I would say the low rating should be 6, I’m on 37’s and lockers and had no problems but scraped quite a few times and got hung up and had to try again a couple times on the hardest sections. This trail is definitely harder than Red Cone and Radical hill but has the same low end rating. Short trail but slow going the whole time makes it a great day trip!
Radical Hill (08/12/2022)
As soon as you start this trail (from the bottom) it becomes evident that your on another level from the other trails in the area. Big chunky rocks litter the road making drivers choose the easiest or harder lines. It climbs quickly but the driving is slow and bumpy. There are two major obstacles that can’t be avoided and I would rate this 6/7 as even the easiest line is not easy on these two rocky obstacles. Right after these the challenge becomes the steep, narrow shelf road to the top. Not difficult but slow going and one spot is extremely narrow so pay attention and move slow. A couple more steep switchbacks and a very steep ascent leads you to the top! AMAZING
Red Cone (08/12/2022)
What an awesome trail! Moderate rock crawling with a couple extra credit hard lines that are avoidable if you want. The main obstacle isn’t hard but it’s a scraper unless you take it just right! The climb to the top was beautiful and the descend fun and exciting but quite easy.
Webster Pass (08/12/2022)
Nothing spectacular but a nice scenic trail that takes you to or from some other amazing trails! The narrows section is definitely narrow but the rest of the trail is a walk in the park.
Caribou Creek (North) (08/08/2022)
Ran this solo today and was a little nervous about all the rain we’ve been having. The mud puddles were big and there are lots of them! You can’t see what’s under them either but I just crawled thru and had no issues. The biggest one was one of the last ones going north and it is big. I tried to keep driver front on the side and passenger in the mud but slipped down into the deep rut but had no problem crawling out the other side. Didn’t need lockers but I’m on 37” mud terrains and they had no issues. Fun but short and quick trail, I finished in less than an hour
North Fork Swan River (08/05/2022)
Very fun trail, so much fun we forgot to take pictures till we got to the top. Once the trail starts getting rocky and climbing it becomes pure fun. The chutes area is especially fun with back and forth flexing with the walls of the chute close to your mirrors. If it was wet this could be very challenging but it was dry and easy. Once above tree line we took the Wise mountain spur and saw tons of mountain goats at the old cabin. The rocky climb from there is pure fun again, easy bit slow going and fun fun fun with great views!
Moon Gulch (07/31/2022)
Very fun trail that is easy and fun at the bottom and bumpy and slow at the top. Beautiful scenery the whole time!
Miners Gulch (07/31/2022)
Ran this uphill (backwards from this description) and it was missing the large boulders at the start of the creek climbing. It was still fun with a few Rocky challenges but much easier than in previous years where it was quite challenging near the start going uphill. I’d rate it a 5/5 right now!
Miller Rock (07/17/2022)
*** Waypoint 10 DOES NOT HAVE A BYPASS*** Whoever wrote the description here is wrong and it should be edited to keep others from following it, the “bypass” is for foot traffic or bikes ONLY! If you try to take your rig on it there is a very high likelihood of sliding and rolling . Like the trail review below mentions, you will start to slide towards the drop off if you attempt to bypass this v-notch obstacle. The obstacle is actually easier than it looks going up or down but please DO NOT TRY TO BYPASS! This obstacle used to be rated 7/8 in the old days….
