Like to go off-roading whenever got sometime. I like to hit up easy to medium trails.
My Trail Reviews (4)(within last 6 months)
Checked the Coconino Forest Service website for road closures and it this was marked Opened. Tried to go on this trail, but soon as you hit the trail a road closure sign welcomes you. Talked to a Forest Service employee who was on the trial and is unfortunately is closed for the winter.
Today was a snowy day, so it made the drive more fun. Made a few stops along the way to enjoy the scenery and the snow. This is a fun easy drive with lots to see along the way, so bring a camera with you. In my opinion you don’t need 4 wheel drive on this trail, but a little ground clearance won’t hurt.
Today was chilly, cloudy and rainy day, but it didn’t stop us from driving it. Made a few stops along the way to enjoy the scenery. This is a fun easy drive with lots to see along the way so bring a camera with you. Any kind of vehicle can complete this drive. Also keep an eye out at the sharp turns, vehicles traveling upwards tend to drive fast.
Soon as I turned off the main road I found the starting point of the trail closed.
I’m hoping that this is a seasonal closure. Going to go back in a couple of months and check it if is reopened. Update coming…
