Mt. Rosa (09/08/2021)
Trail was great with a stock vehicle. Only downside was a lot of people shooting and leaving there trash (brass, targets, and other) behind. Final scenic area worth the drive. We had a wonderful clear day.
Phantom Canyon (09/08/2021)
Great dirt road down from Victor and Cripple Creek areas. Have traveled this road twice now and its a great way to experience some history and views while staying off the asphalt. Love the wooden bridges along route and the tunnel. easily traveled in any vehicle. Grading and smoothing was being completed at the time of my travel last week. 8/30/2021. Well maintained.
Old Stage Road (09/08/2021)
Trail was an easy dirt road. Speeding and large amounts of vehicle traffic have caused rutting and washboard sections. We saw other parts of the trail system being scraped so this part of the dirt road will probably be addressed as well. Still easily accessible and easy to complete in 2wd. Leads to many nice views, history, and off shoots. Well worth driving to connections or all the way up to Cripple Creek/ Victor area.
Gold Camp Road (09/08/2021)
Great dirt trail with history. In my opinion the best way to get up to Victor and Cripple Creek areas. Forgo the asphalt and take this route to the top. easily done in 2wd. road like any other dirt road is affected by weather but is maintained well.
