Cascade Creek (05/16/2021)
Trail was in good condition. A few wet spots and a tiny bit of running water. One downed tree that needs to be removed in order to make it the last .25 mile or so. Afterwords heading into Idaho springs for a beer is never a bad idea
Onion Creek (04/24/2021)
Really great trail of the "beaten path" of Moab. Was not very crowded, and had great spots to pull off and do a quick hike through the canyon and stream. A couple of tight spots and a few water crossings keep it interesting but not a difficult trail, i can see how a few turns make this a moderate trail but an easy drive with some outstanding views away from the busy trails. Overall enjoyable.
Castle Valley Overlook (04/23/2021)
Not much of a trail, but the overlook is great. There are a few dispersed camp sites in this spot with great views a short walk away. Honestly, the overlook camp spot is nice but is so exposed you'll get battered with high winds. Finding a sheltered spot in the trees a bit lower is the way to go. This might become our "spot" to set up basecamp when visiting Moab again
