Pumpkin Vine Road (03/30/2021)
As the guide mentions, this is a maintained county road. Conditions are mostly dry with the big exception being less than a mile past the culvert under the railroad. There is a large puddle and mud hole. Since I was solo and without good recovery gear, this became my turnaround point. Otherwise, great views no other vehicles on the road around 5:00 p.m.
Gordon Gulch (01/23/2021)
Used to access Switzerland Trail. Mostly rocky with packed snow in some spots. The side trails are more fun with more snow that keeps things interesting. The steep spots are clear of snow.
Switzerland Trail (01/23/2021)
Mostly rocky except for a few spots on north facing slopes that had packed snow with some icy spots. Nothing difficult. Definitely worth going out to do. Weather was perfect and minimal traffic. Just some campers, bikers and hikers.
