Hey Joe Canyon (02/20/2021)
Great trail. Most of it is very easy to navigate however the tight squeeze and a few other places you need to pay attention where your outside wheel placement is as it is very narrow and the Green River is about a 10 foot or more rollover into. Belly buster will cause you to scrape your under carriage. In a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon on 2.5in lift and 37 in tires we almost high centered. If you have a nice or custom paint job, a wrap or decals on the side of your vehicle Do Not drive this trail, the willows and gimbals oaks along several areas will make deep scratches on your sides. Additionally if you have a soft sided roof tent above your cab the low hanging branches are likely to puncture the cover. We had to stop several time to cut back low hanging branches due to our hard shell RTT. Near the end of the trail, before the mining equipment, are a couple of small campsites on the river. We choose to spend the night a little further up the trail near the mining area. Just beyond that, where the trail ends there is a place for several vehicles could camp. After all the work clearing the trail the day before the drive out was faster. Belly buster was a little easier in the other direction.
