Trail 4 and 6 both take drivers deep into the woods of Citrus WMA. Both of these trails are forgotten about, which allows vegetation to consume the trail once again. Eroded areas make ledges drivers need to climb over while trying to avoid branches pinstriping paint. Trail 4 and 6 make for a spooky, post-apocalyptic atmosphere!
Citrus Wildlife Management Area is a very popular and active Management Area. Citrus WMA is almost 50,000 acres and is part of both Citrus and Hernando counties. Citrus WMA provides plenty of four-wheeling, hiking, biking, and horse riding trails along with multiple camping sites.

At the intersection of Highway 44 and Pleasant Grove Road, take Highway 44 West for four miles and turn onto Trail 13. Follow Trail 13 south for 1.5 miles until you see Trail 4 on the left.
Trail 4 and 6 are fun as it makes drivers pay attention all the time. Plenty of tree branches to avoid, mild off-camber areas, and mild climbs. Almost all the trail is under shade from trees blocking out the sun.
