Highlight: Glacier Ridge
This iconic trail once traversed a spectacular ridgeline from Georgia Pass to Glacier Peak, with a couple of exciting hill climbs. Unfortunately, these hill climbs became more difficult and, rather than face the rocks and stay the trail, irresponsible drivers chose to create bypasses out on the tundra, dozens of them. As the trail got wider and wider, the Forest Service decided to permanently close the trail. It is now only open for hiking.
