Blue Ridge 4WD road offers amazing views of both Grand and Summit Counties as it follows the county line up past Williams Peak. From the overlook you can see Green Mountain Reservoir, Eagles Nest Wilderness Area and off in the distance Dillon Reservoir.

1. Trailhead (0 mi)
Open the gate and proceed onto County Road 381. Please close the gate behind you.

Directions to Trailhead

From Kremmling, take Highway 9 south approximately 11 miles and turn left at the green gate. From Silverthorne, take Highway 9 north approximately 25 miles and turn right at the green gate.

Q: Why does Status say "Open" but then in description it reads "It is closed from 11/15 to 6/15 every year regardless of conditions". Can you confirm what the status is?

Q: Curious what the camping is like? Would a 14' popup trailer be able to get into some of these spots? How busy is the camping? Would someone be able to find a spot on a Friday evening or Saturday typically?
