Fixer - LeeCo Road is part of the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway. The road is a mix of gravel, dirt, and rock. In the lower sections, beaver dams can potentially flood the trail. The good news is in the area where water stands, it is hard-bottomed. After you descend, the road will follow Sinking Creek, with a good mix of mountain laurel and rhododendron. There is evidence of older oil and gas activities, and it is best to stay away from old tanks due to various potential but unlikely hazards. The road terminates at a dam and reservoir, where it joins Lairspon Road, which serves as a bypass if this road is flooded, and Fixer Road. While the road is non-technical, 4WD and high clearance are recommended. The road travels through private land, and there is no camping.
