Situated in the De Soto National Forest, Forest Road 426 offers access to designated motorcycle and mountain bike (MTB) recreation trails. You will find a well-maintained gravel road as you drive through this southern pine forest of the Mississippi gulf coast plains. Primitive dispersed camping is allowed at either the Bethel Motorcycle or MTB trailhead parking areas. A vault toilet is available at the MTB trailhead. Heavy rain and hurricane storm damage can cause these areas to be closed. Contact the De Soto National Forest Ranger Station or visit their web page here.
