Salt Wash is a short and sandy alternative to graded dirt roads. The trail winds through a very sandy wash. There are no obstacles, just soft sand. Airing down your tire pressure is needed for traction. This route is for 4x4s only. There were not any campsites along the way, but plenty of free primitive camping was in the area. During springtime, flower blooms and critters are abundant in this area.
