Overview

Beginning in the Hot Sulphur Springs State Wildlife Area and traveling through the Arapahoe National Forest, Big Meadows lives up to its name by providing riders with spectacular views of big valleys, open meadows, and enormous mountains far in the distance. Located just southwest of Granby, Colorado, you can find plenty of camping options along this road, whether you are looking for seclusion in the trees or unobstructed views for miles. Several large, mature Aspen groves are sure to leave you speechless in the fall. The colors will only improve as younger aspens begin to take over the pine beetle-ravaged forest in the coming years.
