Overview

The South Park Ranger District in Pike's Peak National Forest is almost half of a million acres of forest to explore. The Badger Flats Trail Network is approximately 110 square miles. The tiny 3 Sections trail is only a quarter-mile of that, but worth a quick drive to run out and back. This trail won't take long but is great when combined with Figure 9 Road (FS 259) and it's other spurs for a full day of exploring the forest.
