This mystery canyon up near Butte Valley in Death Valley National Park is a commonly mistaken turn when people are exploring the area. This canyon has no features both natural or man-made that would draw someones attention to the area. Many people think this is Wood Canyon which is the next canyon down Redlands Canyon. Since this canyon has at the end has no space for a group to turn around, it is advised larger groups avoid this canyon and continue on to Wood Canyon.
