Overview

Trail #SC37 is a fun, short connector trail that climbs a long, sandy trail filled with Joshua trees before meeting up with other trails. At one point along the trail, there is a vantage point allowing amazing views of the Bright Star Wilderness area, the Scodie Mountains, and Dove Springs. At the top of the mountain, the trail crosses the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) and, if you're lucky, allows the driver a chance to see and chat with thru-hikers as they make their way to Canada or Mexico, whichever way they are traveling.
