With quick access directly off CA-168, 8S10 - Red Mountain Road is an easy, scenic off-road trail most commonly used as an access road to 8S42-Sand Flats and the five lake trails; Red Lake, Coyote Lake, Mirror Lake, Strawberry Lake and West Lake.
Scenery across this trail includes high mountain views, tall towering trees, and yellow and gray rock formations contrasting the bright green brush.
